Mary Elizabeth McGlynn is an American singer and voice actor. She is best known for her long-running involvement with the Silent Hill series and has provided vocal work for every game and their corresponding soundtrack since Silent Hill 3. Her close partnership with Akira Yamaoka led her to perform the vocals on Shadows of the DAMNED, as well as its two soundtracks Shadows of the DAMNED Promotional Soundtrack and Shadows of the DAMNED Original Music From AKIRA YAMAOKA.
Outside her video game work McGlynn is a prolific anime voice actor, and has provided dubbing for a large number of series and movies, most notably as the English VA for Motoko Kusanagi in Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. She has appeared in several live-action television series, including Star Trek: Voyager and Xena: Warrior Princess, and has also overseen voice production and writing duties on various games and animated movies.
