A Slash Combo is a technique in both installments of the No More Heroes video game series performed by pressing the A Button repeatedly to attack an enemy with a sequence of slashes. It is also possible to insert Beat Attacks in between Slash Combos, though at times this can result in a dizzying uppercut or kick that sends the enemy backwards, putting an end to the Slash Combo. In both series, Travis' slash combo can be extended indefinitely by constantly changing the position of attack from high to low while performing a combo. This is useful for taking down enemies with a lot of health or trying to get the maximum amount of damage out of an attack on a boss. Slash Combos can also be extended through the "Strawberry on the Shortcake" ability.
